Reet, listen up! If tha’s after a proper Christmas treat that won’t cost an arm and a leg, we’ve got just t’ticket for yer!
Our popular Santa Special services are back for 2025.
Starting on Saturday 6th December, we will be running on Saturdays and Sundays of the 6th & 7th, 13th & 14th, and 20th & 21st, 23rd and then finally on Christmas Eve (24th).
The Christmas magic will start the moment that you enter our festively decorated Engine House.
You will be asked to follow the signs upstairs and through the lit walkway to the waiting area, where you will pick up your tickets and present vouchers from our Ticket Manager.
Then at the appropriate time the Train Manager will take you out to the Santa Special waiting in the platform.
On your journey to the park and back Santa will have a specially selected present for each member of his young audience.
Grumble Bear along with handler Penny, story weaver and crafty creator, will be with us to share her stories and art with her vast family of animals.
She's launching into tales about our engines, too - One of which is our very own magic Danish engine, Idun, whom you'll be able to meet and learn all about.
Afterwards you can socialise in our café area where drinks and seasonal mince pies and biscuits will be served.
